Vino da Tavola Bianco 2020
This vintage, the grapes were purchased from an organically farmed vineyard of Trebbiano at about 10-15 years of age, on sandy, rocky limestone soils a few kilometers to the NW of Montesecondo. The hand-harvested clusters were pressed whole, fermented spontaneously without sulfur in steel tank and macerated for 10 days with the skins. The wine was aged for a few months in concrete tank and bottled under crown cap without fining or filtering and with only a tiny speck of sulfur, It weighs in at only 10.5% alcohol.
Notes of green apple & pear. Good mouthfeel with slight acidity on the finish. A bit of funk to it; a very approachable Orange wine.
