Willamette Valley, Oregon
Pinot Noir
What's piquette you ask? A low-alcohol, slightly fizzy wine made by adding water to the second pressing of grape pomace. Piquette comes from the French word for “prickle,” a nod to its gentle spritz. This piquette comes to us from The Marigny, a small, natural wine producer in Oregon and is made with the pressed grapes of Pinot Noir. It's light and refreshing, with a raspberry, cherry-like crunch. At 4.5% ABV, it's an easy sipper on a weeknight or for brunch.
