100% Pinot Gris

Love at First Sight ranks among our most "terroir-driven" wines. This is a single vineyard production of 100% Pinot Gris fermented on its skins with minimal sulfur added during elevage. The vineyard lies on the banks of the Sacramento River in Clarksburg, CA, where the vines thrive in alluvial soils. The abundant California sun and daytime highs are tempered by the cooling effect of the adjacent river, resulting in a balanced, structured, low alcohol wine with a deep pink color. We enjoy the chalky character of this wine and love to serve it with crudite or charcuterie. It also functions supremely well outdoors, on a sunny day, ice cold out of the cooler. A wine so versatile, so complete.. we let it shine solo. It was Love at First Sight.
