50% Syrah, 50% Samtrot

Burg + Berg is a red blend of Syrah & Samtrot, a mutation of Pinot Munier almost exclusively found in Germany's Württemberg region. 

This wine is straight up campfire vibes. Toasted pine, smoke, and dried earth on the nose ending with dried rose petals. The palate offers beautiful acidity that is balanced with plush tannins and deep, dark fruits, cranberry and spice. Drinks like my favorite central coast Pinot Noir and Syrah met for a Germany country-side vacation.
