Parellada, Sumoll Blanc, Garnatxa & Moscatell

Medium body, pretty golden peach color. Starts off spritzy and quickly diffuses to a plump, juicy texture. Ginger pear and pithy grapefruit on the finish. Refreshing and approachable.

The estate is based in Castell de Grabuac, a medieval farmhouse built in the 15th century, where the Suriol family has been farming the property since the 1600s. “Brisa” means pomace in Catalan, hence “Brisat” is the traditional term for skin contact wines in the Penedés area.  Natural fermentation with the grapes’ own yeasts, 5 days on skins and then 3 months in underground concrete tanks. No filtration, fining or additives, just a bit of sulfur at bottling (max 30ppm).
