Malbec & Cabernet Franc

Fabien Jouves founded Mas del Périé in 2006. Their vineyards are located on the slopes of Trespoux, Cahors, in one of the best locations in the area. They cultivate their plots biodynamically in order to respect nature, the vine and its environment to the fullest, and vinifiy in a natural way, without adding oenological products and accompanying the wine until its maturity, fermenting it and ageing it in concrete tanks, foudres and barrels.

Blackberry, currants and spice jump out of the glass. The palate has roundness and depth from the Malbec but a snappy freshness brought on by the cabernet franc. Best with a slight chill!
